"Somewhere Between" Japan Tour 2026 Osaka

The fin. have released their new 11-track album Somewhere Between today, Wednesday, November 26—their first full-length album in approximately four years. Following their 3rd album Outer Ego released in 2021, this new record sees Yuto Uchino handling all songwriting, composition, recording, and mixing, with mastering by Joe Lambert and artwork by Swedish design team M&E Design.

Somewhere Between explores the theme of the “transience” of memory and emotion, unfolding as if the “past self,” “present self,” and “future self” intersect and overlap. Synthesizers, piano, saxophone, and the faint resonance of guitars blend together to delicately capture the “fleeting sparkle of a moment” that exists between opposing sensations such as hope and loneliness, collapse and rebirth. While retaining The fin.’s signature sense of floatiness and intimacy, the band has evolved toward a more refined and sophisticated sound.

In conjunction with the album release, The fin. have also announced the Somewhere Between Tour 2026, scheduled for March 2026. The tour will visit two cities—Tokyo and Osaka—and is expected to feature the first live performances of songs from the new album. The Tokyo show will take place on March 19 (Thu) at LIQUIDROOM, followed by the Osaka show on March 22 (Sun) at Umeda Shangri-La. For these performances, the band will appear in a full-band lineup featuring core members Yuto Uchino (Vocal, Synth) and Kaoru Nakazaka (Bass), joined by support members Tomo Carter (Drums), Kazuya Takenouchi (Guitar), and Hinata Ishii (Sax, Synth).

With their first full album in four years now complete, The fin. have set their course toward a new journey. Anticipation continues to build around how their ever-shifting narrative will be transformed into a lived experience through both the album and the upcoming tour.

The fin. が、約4年ぶりとなる11曲収録のニューアルバム『Somewhere Between』を本日11月26日（水）にリリースした。2021年の3rdアルバム『Outer Ego』以来となる本作は、全曲の作詞・作曲・レコーディング、ミックスをYuto Uchinoが手がけ、マスタリングはJoe Lambert、アートワークはスウェーデンのデザインチームM&E Designが担当している。

『Somewhere Between』は、記憶や感情の“移ろい”をテーマに、“かつての自分”と“いまの自分”、そして“これからの自分”が交錯するように展開していく作品。シンセサイザーやピアノ、サックス、幽かなギターの残響が溶け合い、希望と孤独、崩壊と再生といった相反する感覚の狭間にある“瞬間のきらめき”を繊細に描き出す。The fin.特有の浮遊感と親密さが同居する、より洗練されたサウンドへと進化している。

また本作のリリースに合わせ、2026年3月に“Somewhere Between Tour 2026”の開催が決定。東京・大阪の2都市を巡るツアーで、アルバム楽曲の初パフォーマンスも期待される内容となっている。東京公演は3月19日（木）LIQUIDROOM、大阪は3月22日（日）梅田Shangri-Laにて開催。今公演では、メインメンバーの Yuto Uchino (Vocal, Synth)、Kaoru Nakazaka (Bass) に加え、サポートメンバーとして Tomo Carter (Drums)、Kazuya Takenouchi (Guitar)、Hinata Ishii (Sax, Synth) が参加するフルセット編成でのパフォーマンスとなる。

4年ぶりのフルアルバムを完成させ、新たな旅路へと舵を切ったThe fin.。アルバムとツアーを通して、その揺れ続ける物語がどのように体験へと昇華していくのか、期待が高まる。
